The work that's left
The chamber is fully enclosed and waste leaves the litter bed for a closed drawer, which helps contain waste, reduce everyday litter-box odor and keep litter scatter off the floor. It isn't odor elimination, and this isn't a maintenance-free appliance — here is the whole routine.
Empty the waste drawer on a regular rhythm.
Replace the liner, if this unit uses one — compatible liners only.
Top the litter up to the marked fill line.
Wipe down, and deep-clean periodically. Key components detach tool-free and the anti-stick litter pad lifts out — unplug first, and follow the manual on water exposure and cleaning agents.
How fresh a room stays depends on your home, ventilation, litter and emptying frequency — so we don't publish a number of "fresh days".

Which cats is it suitable for?+
Only cats within the age and weight range in the specifications table. Very young kittens and cats below the stated minimum should use a traditional box, as should cats who are unwell or unsteady.
How loud is it?+
It runs on a noise-reducing motor, so the cycle is quiet — but not silent, and no automatic litter box is. Introduce it gradually if your cat is very sound-sensitive.
Will it stop my home smelling of litter?+
